Mid-June to mid-September
(when pool is open): 600 EUROS per week.
Minimum let: 2 weeks in July and August.
Mid-September to mid-June: 350 EUROS per week. Minimum let: 1 week.
These prices include electricity and gas.
Other Information
Animals are not permitted.
We would prefer you not to smoke in the house but it is fine to do so in the patio.
To get to Salobreña
Salobreña is 60 km south of Granada, near to the port of Motril. It is 125 km from Almería to the east and 90 km from Málaga to the west.
The closest international airport is Málaga which has low-cost, scheduled and charter flights and car hire. A good road takes you along the coast to Salobreña.
Almería also has an international airport. The road along the coast is autovia (dual carriageway) for some of the way then a rather curvy main road.
There are motorways from Seville, Madrid and Valencia to Granada. The motorway continues south from Granada for a little way then becomes a good if twisty main road.
By Public Transport
The closest railway station and domestic airports are at Granada. You can get to Salobreña by coach from Málaga or Granada (services approximately every two hours).
There is an hourly bus service between Motril and Salobreña.
To Find the House
When you arrive in Salobreña by car, head for the beach (Playa). At the last roundabout before the beach turn left parallel with the beach onto a broad road with a central reservation. Mare Nostrum II is on your left.
At the next roundabout double back. Take the first turn on the right (with houses down one side and an overgrown field on the other) and park at the end of the road next to a big black gate (pedestrian access only). Josefina Fernández's house (No 188) is near to this gate. She looks after El Canyar for us and will guide you to the house. Josefina speaks English and French.
