The house is two-storey with a front door on to the street and a patio at the back (with retractable awning for shade as required) from which a gate gives quick access to the swimming pool.The downstairs is open-plan in design, comprising kitchen, dining area, sittingroom area (including sofabed) and separate WC. French windows lead out to the patio. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other one with two singles. There is also a bathroom/WC and a small balcony looking over the street. It is equipped with fridge, butane gas hob, washing machine, iron, TV and so on. Kitchenware, bedding and towels are provided and included in the price, as are butane and electricity.
El Canyar sleeps up to four people. It is available for rent all year round but demand is high in the Spanish holiday months of July and August and at Christmas and Easter so early booking is advised. Salobreña is very lively at these peak times. Off-season it is much quieter: only a few people live permanently in the estate. Note that the swimming pool is only open mid-June to mid-September.
