Radio Drama

In Sucker, a play written for BBC Radio 4, a philandering, former Conservative minister's chances of re-selection are scuppered by an insect of monotonous drone and singular appetite. Sucker was shortlisted for the London Writers' Competition and the London Playwrights' Festival in 1999.

On 11 February 2005 the play was given its world premiere, in French, as a live stage version (Il n'y a pas de moustiques à Shropshire) in the village hall of Larreule (Hautes-Pyrénées) by La Compagnie de l'éphémere, before an invited audience.
